My only beef with the cheesecake at #BKK #bagels is that it’s a bit dry. Luckily the blueberry sauce helps plenty. (Taken with Instagram at bkk bagel bakery)

Best bagels in #BKK, the coffee is grade A, plus they have Snapple and great tasting brownies and chocolate chip cookies. Their cheesecake is only a disappointing B-. Overall, a great place for a quick brunch.

One of my favorite breakfast meals that have had sparingly since relocating to Bangkok is the spinach omelet. Cheap spinach is not easy to find and the lack of cooking space makes the effort to find it even more cumbersome. End result, I’ll order it whenever I see it, the problem is that I’m often disappointed with the fare, as in this case.

A friend suggested I stop by Aroon Rai Restaurant, near the Thae Pae Gate in Chiang Mai, to have the best Khao Soi ever. I haven’t tried this dish enough times to crown this the end-all-of-all Khao Sois but it was definitely the best one I’ve had so far. And the cheapest, only 40 Baht. The homemade ice-cream I had for dessert afterward left a lot to be desired tho.

Mueslix & banana & yogurt & honey. The sweetness of the honey brings a perfect balance to the tartness of the fresh yogurt. I’m coming here for breakfast every day.

Carrots & apples & ginger shake at ‘Juicy 4U’ in Chiang Mai. While the carrots definitely stood out, they did not overpower the apples and the ginger. I could taste each ingredient. First the carrots, then the apples and finally the spiciness of the ginger. Quite refreshing, overall.

The rice that came along with my massaman curry is shaped like a teddy bear and about to be decapitated.
The massaman didn’t look like much so I didn’t snap a shot of it but ended up being very tasty.

I should know better than to go overboard with the brews but sometimes the karaoke is just too good and you lose track of what beer you’re on. Besides the terrible headache, the worst part is losing the day. On the upside, I got to hit up BKK Burger for my first meal around 9pm. I decided on The Breakfast Bully. It seemed appropriate for the occasion.
